I haven't done photography for over 20 years, and this is my first "real" digital camera (besides a point and shoot). I was looking for something that was fairly easy to use and learn with the ability to operate fully in manual. So far I'm very happy. There are many YouTube tutorials to help you learn the camera, and the touch screen settings are great. I've managed some fairly decent photos so far, and getting better all the time. I shoot in AV mode much of the time, but it's pretty easy to switch to manual to control shutter speed and ISO as well. The lens is fairly versatile, although the aperture speed changes with the focal length. It gets fairly wide angle at 15mm, enough to take decent landscapes, but don't expect much in the way of zoom. I was trying to take humming bird pics and just couldn't get far enough away to not frighten them off. In order to get a better range you will need to buy more lenses. You will need to buy an adapter to use EF lenses.

Love the camera! It’s takes gorgeous pictures and you can fit it in just about any purse. If you are looking for a camera with some more high end settings but simple enough to pick up quickly, this is the best camera. Absolutely love it

It is a wonderful camera. It works great and pictures come out amazing. I love the different settings for the type of pictures I want to take and it is easy to focus on the picture. I like the ability to see the picture before I take it.

Absolutely love this camera! I just started getting into photography and this camera is perfect. The kit lens does the job until u get a new lens and the camera is very easy to use. If you don’t want to manually set your settings there are plenty of automatic settings to chose from that look great! Only problem is that there is a huge lens selection for this camera but u can buy an adapter to fix that

I was a professional photographer for 40 years and made a good living with my canon FILM SLR cameras and then moved to DIGITAL SLR. I now need something smaller and lighter for travel. This camera does the trick. Easy to operate if you are familiar with the controls of canon. Responds well and has lots of shooting options

I bought this camera for my wife initially but liked it so much I bought a second one for myself. It’s compact and not very heavy and takes excellent pictures. I also like the ability to connect to my phone through the canon app to snap pics and download pics I have already taken

I haven't even explored all of the features fully because they have a lot but this camera is amazing so far. I'm so in love! The quality is super good and it's super light. I wish they had a good deal to get a good zoom lens with it but other than that, I really like this camera. The touchscreen feature makes it so fancy. My last camera was a Nikon, so it's a little different.

What a great camera. The pictures come out with great quality and also the video quality. Taking pictures at night is a bit difficult with this camera or its just probably me. The body of the camera looks amazing. It's small so it's easy to carry or put in a backpack. Perfect for v-logging because the screen can rotate so you can see if you are in the frame or not. Great camera.

Love my new camera. I use it as a hobby but its pretty starting user friendly. Its prettt easy to understand and very nice pictures come out of it. The price for what you are getting I believe its worth it.

Excellent camera for a beginner in photography, I bought it for my photo class and I must say that for the price it is very stunning. Beautiful images and so far no problems at all.

Amazing camera for beginners and so many options! Bought this camera to take to Hawaii and just to have a good camera instead of using my phone and it definitely meet my expectations! Pictures turned out crystal clear, also love the compact aspect of the camera!

Camera is very compact, combined with a EF-M to EF lens adapter, the camera has more diversity. Picture quality is great, packed with features. Stock lens is ok for just everyday shooting. There's a lot of EF-M mount lens available not only from Canon also 3rd party like Sigma.

I absolutely love this camera. My current Canon is an 80D, which I also love, but paired with some of my lenses, it is heavy, heavy. I'm getting older, my hands aren't as steady, so I decided to try a mirrorless, without investing too much money. This is a great camera. It's light, it has all the accoutrements that I want (fully articulated--not a tilt--touch LCD screen, view finder, Bluetooth connection and a nice menu of options) and even the kit lens that came with it is a good lens. It shoots well in low light, and with the very light weight adaptor, I can use any of my current lenses on it. I am very happy with this camera; it will most likely become my travel camera and would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful Camera. Once you get an idea on how to control all the settings this camera provides, you can shoot some amazing photos. The super light and compact size allows you to carry this camera literally everywhere without feeling like you're carrying a brick with you everywhere. Definitely recommend!

I bought this camera hoping the reviews were accurate. They were! This was my first time purchasing a camera and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use. It can be a little intimidating at first glance, but the setting menu has short descriptions to help walk new users through each item. I used this along with YouTube videos to help me get a good feel for what this camera is capable of. The flip out screen makes it easy to “vlog” or see yourself while taking timed photos. I also love that I can easily transfer pictures to my phone with Bluetooth. Overall happy with my purchase.

I love this camera, it has been the best purchase I've done for myself. I love taking pictures of my kids, they do grow so fast, so capturing those moments is very important to me.
