I'm new to pro photography and this looked not overly complicated. Great point and shoot functionality. Also I am learning how to use the more advanced settings. On another note, it doubles as a great webcam for streaming. (the camera has a max 30 min auto shutoff but there is software available to bypass that)

I love my Canon M50. I've always wanted a "REAL" camera but I've always just stuck to the simple point and shoot cameras that I didn't have to change any settings on. This mirrorless camera is it! I love it, it's simple and easy to use and produces great quality pictures and video! Way to go Canon!

This camera is very easy to use and setup. Picture seen taken is same picture shown after downloaded to pc. Therefore, live editing can be done to get the quality of a shot you want. Got the camera plus standard lens for $499 + tax. Which i think is a fair price, even though this a sales price.

This is a great camera for a budding photographer! My teenage daughter LOVES taking pics and wanted a “good” camera for her birthday. This camera fit the bill in every way. It’s super easy to use, syncs with her phone, and takes great pics. Very happy with this camera!

Got this on a Black Friday deal. Great camera with great features for reasonable price. Good camera to learn on for both photography and video. Kit lens is decent and when paired with some more expensive lenses the camera won’t hold you back.

This camera is amazing. I’ve taken photos, shot some videos, and even have taken a selfie! It’s easy to use, but as you learn it, you can set the advanced settings. If you are looking for an upgrade to your smart phone or new to photography I highly recommend the Cannon M50.

Bought this as a backup on a trip to Alaska. It performed well and shoots great with the kit 15-45mm lens. It’s not a complete replacement for a dslr yet, but it works well.’controls are easy to navigate.

Here’s the thing about this camera. I have two. It is still a great value and have moved up to a more pro camera. However, I’m keeping one as a B Cam. It’s so small and the lens line up is actually pretty good. My favorite native lens by far is the 32mm EF-M. If you’re looking for a relatively inexpensive, dependable, camera to get strayed, I recommend it. The only thing this camera lacks is clean HDMI. The MK II solves that.

I've been using the M50 for a few weeks now and have been really impressed with the quality of the camera, especially when you take into account the price. I would definitely recommend the camera as an entry level piece of equipment for anyone looking into starting to produce content.

If this is a beginner camera; I can't imagine what a professional camera must be like. I upgraded from a Fuji FinePix 9200 that was 16 megapixels,. This camera blows that one away. It is so clear and beautiful. I use my camera to photographing dogs and puppies and it is excellent. The focus and clarity couldn't be better. As far as video; I haven't bothered to use it because I use my OnePlus 7t phone (4k 60fps) with a DJI Osmo 3 gimbal (much lighter in weight) so that I can get really close. the Wi-Fi was excellent as the pics downloaded to my Chromebook and my cell phone with no problem. Also, the Canon EOS software was excellent and I was able to control the camera with my phone in the yard as I took pictures with the dogs. Lastly, I ordered from Amazon EOS lense adapter and some extra lenses so I was able to get a Vivitar 500 mm lense on to the camera and other lenses for about 230 more bucks and I set! Thanks Canon.

This was exactly what we needed. We love taking pictures and videos so having a nice video camera was exactly what we'd been looking for. Yes, phones are great, but this was a great purchase on our part. Very easy to use camera and can take video up to 8K.

This is my first mirrorless and I have no complaints except for it not being great in low lighting conditions. Lightweight and I often hike with it and capture awesome landscape photos. Easy user interface and easy to use in manual mode or auto.

I've owned a lot of cameras, including Canon. This one delivers great consumer-grade photos and is very easy to use. My only complaint is that Canon moved some of the functions from top-level dials and buttons into menus. That makes it very easy to forget the current settings or not quickly get what you need (such as turning the flash off) and then be surprised when things don't work as expected when taking unplanned shots.
