I purchased this camera about a week and a half ago and right out the box I knew I was gonna absolutely love this camera! I love that you see what you're doing from the other side of the camera with the screen that swivels out. I love taking pictures and will soon be making videos. I like how the screen is also a touch screen and you can just touch the screen to take pictures and also adjust your settings easy and fast.

This is my first REAL camera and I am completely happy w/ my choice. It is easy to use and lightweight.

I love this camera. Is perfect for beginners. And the size is perfect.

I picked this up because from experience, Canon has one the best autofocus systems and it was perfect for taking photos of my quick moving toddler. I used the 22mm f2.0 prime lense with this primarily, which gave it a great compact setup. The lock button on the kit lens kept me from wanting me to use it much - as it slowed me down often. The thing I really liked about M50 is the comfortable, lightweight handling and big clear EVF. The things I realized I needed after using it for a few weeks were a couple more customizable function buttons or dials (much like the M5, I suppose). However, the touchscreen interface and Canon's intuitive interface allowing making relatively quick changes possible. For the price point, this makes the Canon M50 a really fun camera to use.

I really enjoy camera we took a family trip Christmas and I created a lot of memories on my new camera. My I phone pictures did no justice compared to my camera. I use it all the time now and enjoy all the unique qualities if has to offer. I had todo a little reading to get the knowledge on how things worked. But I simply love my camera and wish I would of bought it sooner.
