Good value for an entry-level mirrorless camera

With the discount, the Canon EOS M50 is a good value for those seeking an entry-level camera. Although it is not fully competitive with some more expensive mirrorless APS-C cameras, it is a capable, compact camera which produces very good results. It has many advanced features that can be used by more experienced photographers, but these are mostly embedded in the menus. Its primary weakness, given the mirrorless competition, is that it lacks in-body image stabilization and does not have as many lens choices as some other mirrorless manufacturers. Nevertheless, it is a very good entry-level camera. For the future, it would be good to see Canon and Nikon get more serious about mirrorless camera products. Overall, they seem to be lagging behind the competition in this market.
