Do not buy this camera even if it’s on sale for $549. Video quality was horrible when recording on 1080p. Definitely too small for my hands. This camera would be great if your kid is in high school who wants to try photography but not for professional shooting.

    Used Device Sold As New

Note: This review is of Best Buy, not the product. This camera was ordered online for delivery, supposedly new in box. It was dropped off on my doorstep, clearly used. The camera came with marks on the body, greasy fingerprints on the viewfinder, and worst of all, fingerprints all over the lens. Who rubs their fingers all over their new (and moderately expensive) camera lens? The device itself seems of good quality, but if you buy if from Best Buy, buy it in person, and refuse it if it isn't clearly factory sealed. Best Buy knows better than this.

I am using it for an Year now... battery is worse.. you must have secondary battery backup... photos are not too bad but I feel this is very basic model of mirrorless and for this price you could get a better DSLR..

Canons have always been my preference for cameras, unfortunately this one does not have enough capabilities to justify the cost. There are less expensive cannon options that have the exact same specs.

Not as great as everyone makes it out to be. I find it slow. The fact that it’s light weight is it’s best feature. I’d suggest getting both lenses.

I think this is a pretty good entry level digital camera. I was glad to find that there are plenty of of youtubers' reviews and tutorials. My only complaints are that there aren't many native M class lenses and I had to by a couple to use EF lenses.

I only gave this camera a 1 star because the guy at BB told me this was a fast camera and it was good in low light.... NOT TRUE... it's not great in low light. BUT the biggest thing for me was after buying it and some lenses and batteries along with Warranty. I found out there is a M50 II which is NEWER.... and they had it in stock, but why wouldn't they tell me more about that? VERY DISAPPOINTED!! And was a very large spending customer with BB.

The review is NOT about the instore service NOR the camera, that experience was a 10. This review is based on the service for NOT getting the points on the purchase, and In case this review is deleted I'll post on other boards. I contacted cs about points via chat, in short I was told to contact Citi Bank, I contacted Citi and was told I financed the camera... well if that is the case then I should get points cause I financed the Lens i BOUGHT also using my BB card, and those points show quicker than quick. This is by far the worst in service, because you don't want to give points and yes I read it in the reason as to why you should and should not get them. I'll pay off the camera and cut up the card and give my business to someone/company with better practices.

Do not buy this camera if you want to shoot video in 4K. The autofocus is abysmal. Look at reviews online. Everyone says the same!

I purchase this camera to carry while traveling for a lighter weight Camera with good quality. I found the lens in the kits to be cheap glass and the images were not a clear and bright that I get with my Camon 5D Markl 4. I Love canons products but this is the first one that I have retruned.. My it was the cost of the package and you can get a reble EOS for much less and Better lens with package

Great picture, awesome zoom, but would only record for 30 minutes. It had a limit of 30 minutes and I could not stream church service for an hour without pausing. I took it back and Bestbuy charged me $75.00 restocking fee. I ended up buying a Sony Handycam and it works awesome. I would not buy another a DSLR camera to stream longer than 30 minutes.
