Wasn't sure after reading many mixed reviews, but very happy with the camera. Picture quality and accuracy of focus is great with both the new 24-105 lens along with my 100-400 adapted lens. Could there be improvements - yes, but the colors are great even just shooting jpegs, it outperforms my 5d3 and I would definitely buy again.

Been using this camera quite a bit now.. over 1500 pictures taken and I must say it has been an absolute joy using this camera. Granted I upgraded from the canon rebel t2i but that being said this is an amazing camera with and amazing f/4 24-105mm lens kit. (Jack of all trades lens).

I can't say enough good things about this Cannon EOS R. It is another great example of the quality you expect from Cannon products. The features are endless and very straight forward to use. I also purchased the 470 EX-AI speedlite to make it the very best setup! Thanks Cannon for thinking of everything!

I bought this camera for videography and as a backup to my 5D markIV. I am very happy with the purchase. It balances well on my RoninS. It captures great video in low light. The AF servo picks up eyes quickly and reliably. Lenses are pricey!!!!! Buy the adapter and use the EF lenses.

I love this camera, we use this for our family Vlog channel on YouTube and I also use this to freelance photos. It takes great great photos, best I’ve used in my opinion, but with it only doing 60p in 1080, it seems like they purposely left things out Even though it is a 3k$ camera. I wish they would just make an all out great camera for a good price, people will pay for premium products but I don’t need 3 different cameras for 3 different settings.

Very Spectacular Mirrorless camera for transformation from DSLR. I enjoyed shooting for Landscape and portrait photography. I recommend this for the camera for transitioning. Overall it is great for vlogging too.

One of the best cameras I've ever purchased. I wasted money on lower end cameras and always felt like I was missing out and compromising. I ended up spending a pretty penny on this but it has not disappointed me.

Great upgrade from my Canon T3i! The camera feels great in my hand and the buttons are well placed. Glad I chose the kit with the RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens. Well worth it to spend the extra for this lens!

I bought the Canon EOS R mirrorless camera to replace my aging Canon 60D DSLR. I actually wound up returning this camera and buying the Canon 90D DSLR from BestBuy.com instead. The quality of the EOS R was not the reason for my decision. It is an excellent camera. My main reason for preferring the 90D over the EOS R was the limited availability of RF mount "L" lenses for EOS R and the cost of those lenses. I am not a professional photographer and I could not justify spending $2,700 for a 70-200 mm telephoto zoom for the EOS R. I was able to buy a Canon 70-300 mm telephoto zoom for the Canon 90D with image stabilization for under $400, that adequately meets my needs and I am very happy with my choice of the 90D for reasons that I will include in my review of that product.

If you can get by the bad choices Canon made with the body (no IBIS, mfn bar, placement of af-on button) then it’s a very nice camera. The picture quality is great. Just like the 5Div. Grip nice and big.

I bought this to replace my t6i. I had a sigma 18-35 1.4f lens so it was a very sharp image. This however absolutely competes with that even at f4. Its a crazy solid image, I'm very happy with it.

I am an amateur photographer doing it as a hobby and what a wonderful way to start a hobby. This camera takes amazingly crisp clear photos. I find myself wanting to shoot every thing from flowers to people to bugs to nature.

Absolutely blown away by the quality the Eos R takes! Every picture is so crisp and clear. Upgraded from a 5DM2 and super ecstatic to shoot everything!

AMAZING CAMERA! one of the best beginner cameras out there.

Was hesitant on purchasing one because I believe I can outgrow this camera a quite quickly considering my skill level. Turns out after a month of use that it’s like learning how to walk again, and with time it’s gotten easier and the experience has been better. Truly an amazing camera when you get to its full potential. Only cons I see is the touchbar being too sensitive for some people (it is near perfect for me in accuracy and sensitivity), and the crop when recording video in 4K.

I love this camera, it’s so user friendly, and like sony it allows you to adjust aperture and iso or shutter speed while adjusting certain dials or even on the rf lens control ring. I don’t think this camera gets as much credit as deserved with reviews , but switching from mirrored to mirrorless i can say this has been an easy transition . Pros: comfortable to hold, lightweight, compatible with both rf and ef lens (if you get the adapter) Cons: only one car slot, also high speed continuous mode is slower than the average camera with these specs.

Love this camera! It worth the money for an upgraded lens! A bit on the heavier side with the upgraded lens but overall the quality is fantastic
