Was looking for a camera to bring on my trip to Arizona and after doing some research decided on this Canon Eos R100. User friendly, every mode on the camera provided an explanation on what it did which was helpful. Pictures came out clear and can be imported directly to phone connected through Bluetooth. Can also be connected to a computer via wifi to download photos and videos for editing. The camera is compact enough to fit in a woman’s pocketbook or backpack. Would recommend.

I love it! For a beginner, this camera is perfect. I might have possibly gone for one with a touch screen, but this is still easy to navigate.

This is my first mirrorless camera in several years; as such, I was curious to see how much digital cameras have advanced, even with an entry-level model like this one. The first thing I noticed off the bat was that this model does not have an articulating LCD touchscreen. This surprised me, as I assumed this would be standard on most DSLRs. However, the screen itself is large and clear as also with the view finder. The camera also had a responsive autofocus mode, and the 4K resolution was impressive. For this level of camera, I also noticed good image tracking. Unfortunately, the 6.5 frames per second shooting seemed sluggish and selective tracking was difficult. Once I tried out the app, I found that it made up for the lack of articulating touchscreen. There were many features in the app that made this camera seem like a good starter option for podcasting. Video stabilization, however, was a little choppy. I was also disappointed that the USB-C port could not be used for charging the battery. Overall, I would recommend this model as a decent starter camera for a podcaster or family, but I feel that other users might benefit from spending a little extra money for upgraded features. The camera is great quality, the pictures come out super clear and doesn’t take long to focus, its also really easy to use for beginners. It was also really cheap, I got the camera, an SD card that can hold up to 8000 pictures the case/bag for it and 2 year warranty, and it was only $600 dollars. The bag/case for it is really good as well it keeps it really safe and it has slots for the camera an extra lens and the battery charger. Overall everything is really easy to use and works really well.

This was purchased for my daughter, and she’s loving it. She’s wanted a nicer camera than her phone and this is perfect for her. It’s easy to use and she loves all the pre setting that it offers. It takes great pictures. I purchased it on sale during the holidays, so it was a great buy.

Excellent camera for amateurs and professionals. East to use and with the Canon app, transfer pics from you camera to your smart device. Crisp and stunning photos are east to take. I’m very happy with this amazing camera

I was looking for a budget camera like my old D40 - back then, mirrorless cameras were not as good as D-SLR cameras. As a quick summary, what I got out of R100 are: 1) 6.5 shots per second just like D40. There are higher models with faster fps but then you need to up your budget. 2) Very light to operate. Works well for low-light photography. 3) The lens with it (18-45) gives a good wide-angle capability that is very useful if you don't have much space between you and the object. 4) Quality video shooting with ease.

I only used it for about 3-4 photos. It was a gift to my wife. It was easy to use and the pictures came out great.

This Cannon is small but takes great photos. Purchased it for our son who wanted to get into photography. Photos are sharp in all different lighting, colors are vivid and clear, shutter speed is great and takes great pictures of our pets. It is lightweight and perfect for traveling. Purchased an adapter to use a few lens from an older Cannon, which works flawlessly. Very pleased with our purchase.

Love this camera great for beginners. My favorite feature is how it explains each setting to help you adjust for the perfect image. Another great feature is how light weight the camera is. So easy to for on the go. The camera also allows a lot of setting styles that allows you to adjust any image and video in your personal style.
