This was recommended by a friend, and I love it because it's compact and lightweight. As a sportsmom, I already carry with snacks and chairs, and the camera doesn't add much weight. The best feature is the 4k video capability. The videos come out great, making me feel like a whole professional!

After doing some research I decided to buy the Canon R50. It’s easy to use and takes very clear, high quality pictures. The kit came with 2 lenses which (as a beginner) gets you a good starting point with the possibility of expanding later. Absolutely love this camera!

Bought for my 17 year old daughter that is tak8ng a photography class in college. It has been a great investment for her. Takes some great photos. It’s a great starter kit. Comes with everything you need except the memory card. Highly recommend. Her class really helped with the improvement of her pictures.

Incredible quality and value. I bought this to capture volleyball action shots and it has done a phenomenal job. Regular still shots are very good. Love the depth of field and ability to increase background blur even more. It's very easy to use and packed with features.

Did not have many setup instructions but was fairly simple to get through the initial setup. The lenses are amazing and the pictures I took at my sister's wedding came out beautiful. Very glad I chose this camera to capture such wonderful memories.

Purchased for my wife with zero camera experience and turned out to be one of my greatest purchases The image/clarity and zoom quality is very sharp and crisp. I’ve been using it to take action shots from soccer and being able to adjust the shutter speed is an awesome feature. The ease and user friendly features is offers is an added plus. You simply download images to your phone via Bluetooth and you’re done

Excellent value. Easy to use out of the box but advanced features will provide room to grow. Lens are generally very good and nice that with an adopter I can still use my older EOS lens.

Great camera. Easy to use in fully auto mode for the beginner as I am but has enough features to allow an advanced photographer to use the more sophisticated capabilities. Very happy and great photos.

This camera is great for a beginner (like me). I’ve never used anything more than an old school digital camera and was able to set this up and get some great shots almost immediately. I definitely recommend this camera for someone who is interested in getting into photography, or someone just wants to get some good quality photos.
