I love this camera. The grip is a little tight, but the software is incredible. One issue: the WiFi is really struggling to work with my android phone.

Great product! I purchased not only to be my main piece of photography equipment, but to also use as my primary steaming camera on YouTube and Twitch. The quality it provides and customability in order to get the image and exposure to look exactly how I want it to is both easy and great for the price!

Great camera to start, just got into photography. You won’t be disappointed with the picture quality. The RF 18-45 lens is good for close distance pictures. If you are trying to get bokeh it won’t be as good as the 50mm lens. Just a heads up.

I was inspired to buy a camera although we all have smartphones nowadays. This little guy has been great. It got better when I got the 50mm lens. My photos looks great, much better than what we can get from our phones. Always nice to have a new hobby.

Love the size and weight. Perfect for day to day carrying and photo quality is very good and the option to chnage lenses is nice. Battery life can be better.

This was a gift for my daughter, and she absolutely loves this camera. It is super easy to operate even for a novice and takes incredible pictures and videos.

This thing is amazing. I also own Cañon R6 and R5. This has the newest autofocus system of the Canon mirrorless, and it is phenomenal. If you’re a seasoned photographer and want to have a small camera to take anywhere without the bulk and weight, this (or the r10) is the one. They both share the same new AF system. However, the r10 grip is a weird fit in my hand, leading my back to the r50. I definitely think ergonomics are important, if you can try it in your hand and see how it feels, do it. The hand grip hump on this is similar to that of my Canon M50 if you’re upgrading from that. The kit lens is sharp, but the aperture really stinks. I would love to get my hands on the RF-S 18-150 to go with this camera, they don’t bundle with the r50 currently. If you’re new to Canon mirrorless, this is a fantastic place to start. You can shoot on full auto, working your way up to manual. I love mirrorless because you can see changes as you make them, and it makes learning so much easier. When I started you always had to take a shot to see how it looked and try again. No guesswork with these unless you start adding flash. Love love love these mirrorless canons and you will too. The AF you can track eyes/people, vehicles, animals (it goes for their eye also!). Just make sure you choose which one you want and use servo so it will continually track. Single SD card slot. Can shoot raw. Nice viewfinder. Pop up flash. Easy menu system. Buy it!

I’m honestly so happy with my Canon EOS R50. It’s super easy to use and the pictures come out beautiful. It feels light, comfortable to carry, and perfect for everyday photos and videos. It was exactly what I was looking for and I’d 100% buy it again. Definitely recommend if you want something simple but really good.

Absolutely love. Brand new to photography and this has been a great experience so far. I absolutely love that I can edit photos on my phone without having to handle the camera. It’s light weight and going to be great for hiking. I may need some more lenses eventually.
