||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Canon EOS R50 is a versatile and user-friendly mirrorless camera that offers impressive image quality and a compact design, making it ideal for a beginner like me. Its autofocus system is quick and accurate, ensuring sharp photos even in challenging conditions. The camera's intuitive interface and helpful features like built-in Wi-Fi and vertical video recording enhance my overall experience. While it may lack some advanced features found in higher-end models, the R50 provides excellent value for its price, making it a great choice for me who is looking to step into the world of mirrorless photography.

Best camera for the price
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera has great detail in the pictures is efficient on the battery and very small packed with many amazing features such as slow motion, really good 24MP camera sensor (good even if cropped!), and has a lot of fun filters to play with and take cool and high quality pictures. Video is almost great which has 4k 60fps which I did not expect from this little thing. Overall amazing solid build and I would highly recommend this to new beginners or for a fun hobby and even creating great memories with it!

Love this camera!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Camera is not a full lense but I still love how portable it is! I took it out to a football game and got some great shots! It is suppose to be a beginner camera but to be honest a camera is only as good as the picture taker and edits. Make it work for you and it will be a great add on to your collection.

Phenomenal camera!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is amazing. I also own Cañon R6 and R5. This has the newest autofocus system of the Canon mirrorless, and it is phenomenal. If you’re a seasoned photographer and want to have a small camera to take anywhere without the bulk and weight, this (or the r10) is the one. They both share the same new AF system. However, the r10 grip is a weird fit in my hand, leading my back to the r50. I definitely think ergonomics are important, if you can try it in your hand and see how it feels, do it. The hand grip hump on this is similar to that of my Canon M50 if you’re upgrading from that. The kit lens is sharp, but the aperture really stinks. I would love to get my hands on the RF-S 18-150 to go with this camera, they don’t bundle with the r50 currently. If you’re new to Canon mirrorless, this is a fantastic place to start. You can shoot on full auto, working your way up to manual. I love mirrorless because you can see changes as you make them, and it makes learning so much easier. When I started you always had to take a shot to see how it looked and try again. No guesswork with these unless you start adding flash. Love love love these mirrorless canons and you will too. The AF you can track eyes/people, vehicles, animals (it goes for their eye also!). Just make sure you choose which one you want and use servo so it will continually track. Single SD card slot. Can shoot raw. Nice viewfinder. Pop up flash. Easy menu system. Buy it!
