This camera is awesome for your hobbyist who does not like to edit photos. Takes great photos, lightweight and portable and the app is easy to use. I can easily upload pictures and videos to social media within a matter of a minute or so.

The canon R 50 is a superb entry-level mirror less camera that packs a powerful punch that rivals high end professional grade cameras and has an interface that is user intuitive, and a breeze for novices to understand. I bought this Camera for my wife. Neither of us are advanced photographers and the software on this Canon makes it so easy to just pick up and use. It’s a smaller profile too which is great for travel or smaller hands. Picture quality is fantastic especially with a 50mm lense. 10/10. Great job Canon

I wouldnt see any other reason why you would choose another camera. This one has it all from taking raw photos to using the build in editor/effects to get your perfect pictures. Sucks that any phone transfers or uploading automatically decreases the image quality but dont be fooled! This camera takes very beautiful clear pictures and videos.

All I can say is I’m amazed! Is it an investment, sure, but we took the camera out to glacier national park and the pictures have now been printed and cover my wall. I am constantly asked where I got my pictures from. Get the camera and you won’t be disappointed
