I have used Canon camera's exclusively and wanted on to try a new mirrorless camera without breaking the bank and the R50 is it! Has many of the same settings of the more expensive ones, but at a quarter of the cost. The creativity that you can do with the on board features is almost endless. You can play for hours with all the features this camera provides, from sending images via Bluetooth/WiFi to your devices, recording 4k videos which are phenomenal, control the camera with your device via Bluetooth, list goes on and on. Images taken are excellent while shooting Raw or JPEG, and high ISO images are fantastic with no noise in the image. I shot many at 1600 ISO trying and it is noise free! I also purchase a adapter to use EF lenses on the camera and it works great! If you are looking for a really nice mirrorless camera, without breaking the bank, this is it! Give it a try, you will not be disappointed. I sure am not!

This camera takes wonderful photos and is fairly easy to use for anyone getting into photography.

I know NOTHING about cameras... NOTHING... But I do make YouTube videos and I was looking for something that would be easy to use and look great. This camera is perfect for that. Clean, sharp footage.. Comes with a lens.. You can leave it on "Auto focus" so it takes care of that for you, or choose manual and rotate the lens till you find the sweet spot.. I already knew that I was going to record my audio separately (into a laptop) so I wasn't concerned about that... It records audio but any audio straight from any camera isn't going to be great. If you're wondering.. don't hesitate.

Camera is a beast! It does everything and is super light. Absolutely love this thing although we probably have barely scratched the surface of what it can do.

Amazing camera. My sister purchased this camera and I fell in love with it. I had nicer older cameras but I loved the feature of being able to upload them straight to your phone or camera wirelessly. The photo quality is absolutely amazing and I love that you can also take videos with it. It's light and comfortable to carry. My only complaint is that my camera fell off of the bed onto a carpeted area and the lens broke and wouldn't retract. I was shocked at how easily it happened given my others camera I've had for 15 years and have never had any issues. Thank goodness I purchased the insurance plan but beware that it seems to be very fragile.

Bought this for my wife’s xmas gift. She was extremely happy. The camera alone is worth the cost, and the lens that comes in the bundle is great. The camera itself is very user friendly, shoots great pictures right out of the box.

I have always been a great fan of Canon cameras due to their reliability and quality. Canon engineers have a clear understanding of what customer like me really need to take awesome pictures. This small camera is a monster in terms of what it can do. I immediately fell in love after taking the first few photographs. Having said it, I will buy iy again a million times more.

Great camera. Compact size with a lot of features. Solid feel, versatile screen allowing different positions of viewing. This camera is for amateurs and beginners. Even professionals can use this and produce incredible pictures.

Beautiful camera. I’d buy the body then get a 35mm, a 24-105 and a 100-400 telephoto if I had to do it again, but I’m super happy with the purchase either way. Fantastic starter camera. Read the manual and have fun!

Great camera easy to use for beginners like myself. Very impressed with the picture quality and overall settings. I think this camera is a good start for being on the lower end of the canon line the quality is pretty good. Camera is light and small. I definitely recommend the bundle that also includes the 55-210mm telephoto lens it gives you another lens to play with aside from the one that comes with it. Very fun to use. Comes with Bluetooth connection to your phone so you can upload pictures and edit on the go or use your phone as a remote control for the camera.

Perfect to set up for someone who knew nothing about cameras. I use it for my vlogs and also use it for my gaming videos. Highly recommend even with price being fairly high

I havent been a shutterbug in years. I recently decided i wanted to get back the hobby buy my old gear just wasnt cutting it. I did tons of research and all signs pointed at how great this camera was for the money. They were all correct! This is superior to anything ive ever owned and costs no more than the best camera ive ever purchased. The size is great and the pictures right out of the box are stunning. For someone new or rusty to the hobby this has some intellgent modes to help you capture pictures and videos you didnt think possible in an affordable camera. Best thing is, once you develop your skills, this camera has everything you can utilize as a much more experienced photographer. Give this camera a chance, the menus are great, everything is laid out well, and you will be shocked at the quality of your pictures!
