    Was looking for a smaller light weight DSLR to take on the road. Also, one that would take my current Canon lenses. This camera fit the bill, and was easy to store and to carry. Exactly what I wanted.

    I bought this SL1 mainly for a second camera, I already own a Canon 6D along with various L series lenses. I went for just the body as I did not need the kit lens. Perfect for a beginner or someone like myself who has been a Canon guy since the mid 90's. At time of purchased I also picked up the Canon 24mm pancake lens too.

    Switched from a Sony A6000 back to the SL1 any could not be happier. Much better options and settings, and a great selection of lenses.
