Bought this for my daughter to use for the high school yearbook. She really enjoyed it - out of the box - easy to use and great pictures indoors and out.

The Canon Rebel SL1 is a great camera with great features, especially when you can get it on sale.

If you're just starting out as a blogger, this camera is price-conscious and does the job well. My only recommendation is to read the manual since there are so many setting that can change many aspects of a photo.

Yeah, this is the good stuff, lots of bells and whistles, plenty of options. Will do everything that you want it to do. Not for the point & shoot crowd. Get educated on taking photos if you want the most out of this one or any other SLR camera for that matter.

I love this camera! I have always owned Canon's so the transition to this camera was very easy. It's a great model for the price and does just about anything that a non-professional photographer could want. The only note I have is that I might have been worth it to spend a little more and get the one with the fold out display on the back.

The size is the best quality of this camera as it doesn't have the bulkiness of most DSLR cameras. It is easy to learn how to use it. So far getting great pictures and enjoying it.

After using a variety of point-and-shoot digital cameras for the last few years, I thought it was time to get back to a (D)SLR camera, as I was still regularly frustrated by the inferior quality of the digital cams. And the difference in quality is noticeable right from the get go…once again, I'm enjoying consistently high-quality photos (buh-bye, grainy pics!). It's nice to be proven right once in a while...
