Although I have no idea how to use this camera yet, the pictures that I have taken with it are fabulous! The images are clear and the colors are stunning. I can't wait to learn more about it and see what kind of images I can capture!

Many different settings for every type of picture you want, e.g. night, portrait, etc. There is always the auto setting, which is great for a beginner too. Very light and compact. Overall great camera.

This camera is light weight and very user friendly. My 17 year old daughter loves it!

Easy to use with many auto options. I like how the screen displays what each setting is as you select it so you don't need to memorize everything. Takes great photos!

So far my wife loves this camera. The pictures that it takes are clear and precise. The other night she took a picture of the moon, and then zoomed in on the picture. You could see every little detail of the surface. It was so realistic and clear.

I was shopping in store for a DSLR and I haven't owned one in years. I was interested in the T5i but the sales associate pointed me in the direction of this model due to a better feature set, stabilization etc. Great all around shooter!

The Canon EOS Rebel SL1 DSLR Camera with 18-55mm IS STM Lens is a high quality choice for a beginner introduction to photography.

This is a great DLSR that is small in comparison to other Cannon DLSRs or other brands. Picture quality as it should be is amazing. The only thing that I do not like about the package in general is the lens that it comes with. Could have been better but it gets the job done. My wife liked this DLSR so much that I ended up buying a 2nd one for her.
