This is a great camera. Was torn between T3i and SL1. After research, the difference in price ultimately the weight and some features. I love the auto zoom and the features. I am not big on video so had no need for the T3i and its reversing view finder. This camera is super easy to use and has many functions for a beginner or advanced shooter. Shutter speed is fast and quiet.

This is one the best cameras I have bought in years. For the price I paid wish it had Wi-Fi . Other than that it's a great camera lots of good options and takes great pictures . You are able to download the pictures off the card and put them in the computer but I wish I had Wi-Fi so they would automatically transferred to my computer. Other than the Wi-Fi I think that this is an awesome camera it really is easy to use and I can't wait to start giving away the pictures of my grandson to friends and family

Great camera. Need new lense to zoom in closer. Will work better for gymnastics shots

I wanted to get a camera that would be light enough to keep with my family and me on trips, but that still has features that I'm used to having on a traditional DSLR. This one does the trick: it is compact, lightweight, and I can compose pictures looking through the lens. The image processing is extremely fast, but be aware that the automatic settings are not helpful. I feel that they over-process and over-compensate, to the point that on simple "point-and-shoot" mode, the pictures do not look natural. The good news is that by using "program" mode (P on the dial), one can disable most of that stuff, and the camera will still work more or less automatically. The battery life is a bit less than I would like, but I understand that to be a trade-off for the camera's light weight and compact size. I discovered that most of the battery drain is the flash: by using an external flash when needed, the battery lasts a lot longer. Overall, it took a bit of trial and error for me to figure out the settings that I think produce the best quality images, but now that I've sorted out the settings, I'm quite happy with this camera.

Excellent camera... It's like having the T5i in small version.. I compare both of them and they have the same specs... What is completely different is the LCD that doesn't come out but it comes touchscreen which is really cool .. All functions can be change within ...

When your ready for a move up in picture taking, this is a good one to learn from.

Very nice camera which is easy to operate. I was able to get the white one by driving into NH. The instructions are a little hard to follow, but so far accurate. It would have been nice is a camera bag was included in the kit
