I personally love this camera! As a casual photographer who is also shorter, the flip LCD comes in very handy! Easy to use, great clarity and the settings can be easily personalized. Be very careful with the flip screen though so as not to accidentally damage it. It can scratch fairly easily. Good sound quality in the HD video capabilities. And very fun to use at any occasion. It is fairly quiet and very easy to change lenses.

This is soooo much better than the Rebel Xt. It is more fun to grab and shoot a nice photo fast if you don't have time for manual settings.

As so many have noted, this is an amazing camera. I was able to take beautiful pictures right from the start. I did have to return my first one, since for some reason it started taking blank, or "black screen" pictures all of a sudden one day. My local Best Buy simply exchanged it, since it was less than a week old. Since then, no problems. I wish it came with a better "how to" guide to all of the complex features. I would like to take a photography class to get the most out of the camera. Very happy with the purchase!

this is my first DSLR. actually wanted to get t2i but no best buy near my house carried it so i went with t3i instead. overall i think it's a "okay" camera. not too impressed with it. for DSLR, and something that cost over $900, i expected better image quality. It's tougher than i thought to navigate around and get a good shot; not like the simple point and shoot. here are some pix i took. it almost looks like pix taken from point and shoot.

Honestly my wife bought this camera back in February and i felt in love with camera right from the begging . very easy to use, compatible with many of canon other lens.

Functions are easy to figure out. Pictures are clear. Comes with manual so if you cant figure something out, just have to read.

It was a Christmas gift from my husband. It is the exact camera I've been wanting. I have used it daily since receiving, and have no complaints at all. I AM looking for a body case for it that will permit me to carry it w/o the entire bag - hard shell case that has room for the lens as well.

Great camera very clear and crisp pictures. A litle complex for my fist camera. But the more I use it the more feature and settings I learn. Over all I realy love the very clear pictures.

Needed a good camera for an overseas trip. Had sticker shock but this camera has every feature I need. My only dissatisfaction is that it is bulky to carry while touring.
