I recently upgraded from my Canon Rebel Ti. I should not have waited so long. I believe the pictures are more vibrant and closer to reality. I thought this to be true with the Ti but the pictures did not totally satisfy me. But they were good enough for me not to want to upgrade. But when I saw the T3i with the larger screen to view the pictures along with being able to lock the mirror up to set up my picture format on the LCD, I knew I had to have it. I just wish I had done it sooner.

I really like this camera. My son and I had this camera before and I just got it again so that I wouldn't have to share it with him anymore. It takes great auto pictures, but I also enjoyed using some of the advanced features like shutter speed and ended up taking a lot of great pictures on my recent trip even though I'm just learning the advanced features on my own. I also love the option to video which I also used and it imported easily onto my MAC to create an iMovie project.

I love this camera! I am very glad I made this purchase. This was my first DSLR purchase and really first time to use a DSLR camera. It is great for beginners. There are a few things I still have questions on and am not completely sure how to use, but Best Buy has great customer service and have been very willing to help me.

I am so happy my wife and I purchased this camera. I had been researching DSLRs for a long time, and purchased the T3i based on reviews and advice from others. We made the right choice! It is very easy to use in the Program mode, if you don't have time to be creative. When you do have time for creativity, however, I am blown away at what this camera can do. Absolutely stunning photos of fireworks, sunsets, mountains, lakes, waterfalls, birds, festivals, concerts, portraits, and flowers, all easily taken. Its very easy to get 8-10MB photos that are crisp, even in low light conditions. The image stabilization allows us to shoot at unheard speeds of around 1/10 sec without blurring. The ability to shoot at ISO 6400 is great. The thing I like about it this camera is that it lets our creative side come out very easily in the "creative" modes that we are still discovering each day. After taking so-so images with cheaper digital point and shoot cameras, I am back in the game! The book and menu are very helpful. Take time to get to know the features on this camera, and you will not be disappointed.

We love this camera! Our son and his wife had a baby and we wanted to get a camera we could get good pictures of him on. This camera works great! We have taken some closer up as well as group shots and they all come out great. We have even been asked if a professional took them. We owe it all to the Canon Rebel!

Bought the camera for my 17 year old son who I consider to be a novice photographer, but definately has an eye for good picture taking. Not only has he already taken some phenominal pictures (advanced setting type) after just a couple weeks of use, I have also taken some very impressive pics myself of our very active family (sports, outdoor activities, indoor productions); I am not a photographer by any strecth. Great DSLR for novice or advanced user in my opinion.

This camera takes great pictures with relative ease. I purchased it because my point and shoot couldn't get my 18 month old while moving and neither could my iPhone 5. I haven't found time to learn all of the tricks to it, but can say that the "auto" feature works very well and seems to adapt to each picture scenario appropriately. I'm very pleased with the results thus far. I've probably taken roughly 200 pictures already. I would recommend this to a friend.

Filming with this camera is good quality and adjustable between 30 and 24 frames per second. As for stills you get some modes and is mostly oriented for manual adjusting but has settings where it isn't all manual. All around is a quality higher end camera.

This is a great dSLR for the price. Good for those just starting out with photography but looking for something more advanced than a point and shoot. The stock 55-80mm lens is obviously sub par compared to higher end competitors but still does a fantastic job. I purchased the bundle pack with the telephoto lens and think it was a great deal! Great action shots, great landscapes. Not so great macros but can't expect anything more with a non-macro lens.
