When the family gathers for the holidays, there are four of these in the house. And we all like them for a variety of reasons and uses. It's a really good DSLR for frequent use.

This is my first camera that is not a point and shoot and so far it is great. It is intuitive for a beginner like myself. I bought is specifically for the night settings and have not been disappointed. I have gotten some great firework shots.

Stepping up from a point and shoot, I wanted a DSLR that I could both step into and use easily right away, and as my skills improve, grow into the enhanced capabilities available in a more advanced camera. The T3i fulfills all of those criteria.

Canon has always been the face of reliable technology for me and the Rebel T3i has been no exception to this rule. Easy to use and great quality photos, this camera has been a must in my working arsenal. The only thing I have not been a fan of, the fact that when I take a picture while in the video mode, video cuts out and is replaced with the clicking of my camera. But hey, maybe it's just a sign I need another rebel by my side.

Really, I'm only doing this review because I've been bombarded by these Best Buy messages. Anyway, while I'm reviewing, I might as well help someone realize what they're getting out of the box. You're getting a camera that has rather good functions for novice and for intermediate photographers. If you're someone who wants to casually use this device to capture life's little moments, this works wonders. Has easy-to-read text for you folks out there and the battery life is adequate, though I'd advise on taking the battery out if you're storing the camera for a couple weeks without use. Honestly, I recommend this.

The canon T3I is a great camera. Picture quality is very good, as well as video quality. The video capabilities is what made me choose Canon over Nikon. The 18-55mm lens that came with the kit takes very good pictures but is limited in range and is slow. Its a great starter lens. The price of the camera and lens make this a great deal.

Great camera for the price. It is a starter camera for my daughter as an aspiring photographer. Has lots of settings, and options for shooting in almost every imaginable situation. That, however, makes the camera a bit confusing to use at first. It's not good when the first few times you want to use the camera you have to refer to the instructions booklet to figure out why the camera takes a while to focus and then shoot.
