This camera is a very good choice for a beginner in DSLR cameras. I didn't need and probably will never use some of the features offered in the $1000+ cameras. This has everything I would need.

I plan to use this camera for my business and it seems to be pretty easy to use. The pictures look great.

I prefer Canon cameras. I had an AE-1 Program for my 2nd SLR. I have had several Canon power shot cameras and like them for quick use. It took a while to learn the controls on the T3i. That's not the camera's fault. The on-screen guide is an excellent feature. There too many excellent features to list them all. I recommend the T3i to anyone wanting to purchase a DSLR.

Took a little bit of reading the instruction manual and fiddling around with the settings, but once you get the hang of it this is a great camera. very happy with our purchase. I have purchase Canon for years and am happy I stuck with them.

Great Camera for the price. Love it. The lens is little easy to break, be careful. The quality of the body is good for the price you can achieve a lot with this little camera. I use it for myself and my business. All you need is a better lens.

We love this camera! We are relatively new using "nicer" cameras and this one is the best. I would recommend investing in the dvd that explains how to use it and has other basic photography tips - it was very useful and worth the 15-20 bucks. This camera is good for a first major upgrade or for more seasoned photgraphy. The video is also really good as a bonus!

I really like the camera. It is super easy to use, and I like all the options that it has. I just don't know how to take a picture while it is zoomed in. The picture takes, but it is at the wide angle, not what I zoomed in on. I have read the booklet, but I cannot find anything to tell me how to zoom in so the photo will take the zoomed in area. I will continue to read and investigate, and I will continue to "play" with the camera.

The adjustable LCD screen is an excellent feature for previewing images. It delivers great pictures for it's worth. This should be the starting point for all serious DSLR beginners.

Great beginner camera for the novice looking to expand his/her photography skills. Easy to use with it's various scene modes, auto modes but also lets you delve into the world of manual mode.

Definitely worth the money. Pictures are crisp. Easy to use.
