You can do anything you want with this camera. Whether a first time user or advanced user, you will love it. Great stills as well as great footage. Awesome pictures. No work unless you want to do it manually. Auto focus, zoom and auto flash with strobe. Awesome!

Bought this camera as a Mother's Day present for my wife. She's been secretly wanting an SLR for a while. The picture quality is incredible. The only drawback is that the zoom on the stock lens is not very good, but you can edit and zoom in w software on your Mac.

I love this camera. It takes beautiful pictures right out of the box but there is so much more you can do with you. Once you learn more about it, your creativity is endless. Definitely an investment but if picture quality is important to you, buy this camera.

I have been wanting a camera like this for a long time. I finally decided to go for it and I'm glad I did. I am still learning how to use it, but for basic pictures I've taken so far, I have no complaints. I don't think you can be disappointed with it!

This camera replaced an XTi. With the ISO expanded to 6400, it allows plenty of exposure to take action shots indoors. Which the XTi had diffuclty doing without a flash. Lots of camera for the price.

I had narrowed my selection down to the t3i and the t5i but decided to go with this one for the value. I am by no means a pro, but it really is easy to learn basic digital photography on this device. I would recommend this as a great beginner camera.

Have no issues with the camera ....Pretty good out of the box and has enough features to allow you to grow. I think it is a great stepping stone camera that has take great pics and in my opinion the best bang for the buck for current trailing edge technology.

Lenses make the camera. Don't think that a higher model will give you a better picture. This body is great in and of itself. The stock 18-55mm lens is not bad, but will not give you the same images as a 35mm F/1.8 prime lens, for example. Beginners may be turned off by not knowing this, but anyone seriously interested in photography would be pleased with this model.

This camera takes great pictures no matter what settings I have used. Each picture is chrisp and clear. Cycle time between turning the camera on and the first picture is amazingly short. This was a wonderful surprise as we traveled through Yellowstone, we could have the camera off and within seconds see something and have a picture taken. We could take pictures in far less tme than it took our old camera to even power on. That surprise bear crossing the roadway in front of us is shown in our photobook instead of just being a "you should have seen" story. Glad we purchased the T3i.

My wonderful husband purchased this camera for my birthday gift. I am a beginner at this and I must say the camera looks very intimidating but once you watch the DVD and keep practicing it becomes second nature! The photos are breathtaking! I'm not one that comment all the specs and specifics because I'm not all up to speed on it, but I do know I've always had a cannon and love this brand! I recommend this camera to all beginners, it's great!

I have always wanted a DSLR camera and finally splurged. So glad I did because I took beautiful photos over the holidays with it. The quality is amazing! I am looking forward to learning more about it so I can take full advantage of what it has to offer.
