I love this camera, it shoots great HD video that rivals my Canon XHA1. I really like that I can change the lens to get different looks.

The first time I used this camera I took photos of the Christmas decorations at night downtown using the automatic setting. The photos turned out clean and clear. I was very impressed.

Used for first time on vacation in Quebec - very satisfied with it's performance and ease of use. Be sure to get an extra telephoto lens.

Battery life is a big plus for me. This camera can do it all. You will have to pay more for a higher quality lens to really make if zoom in, but it's a great camera with the standard lens

Use for personal hobby. Easy to operate, and can use lenses from Canon EOS Rebel X 35mm camera.

The picture quality is great, but after a few shots it seems to bog down and takes a while to allow you to take another photo... which is fine if you're just doing one shot, but obviously less than fine if you're trying to capture every moment... Still, decent mid-level camera

I'm still learning how to use it, but so far, I have not been disappointed with the pictures.

Bought this for my 16 year old granddaughter and she was able to pretty much figure it out right out of the box. Pictures are great.

I love my new camera. The camera comes with a swivel display. This can be useful when you need to view the screen at an angle (cut out glare). It is also useful when placing camera in tight spot the can tilt the display to see what you are shooting. I also like the menu is color coded this makes for easy viewing while under the tool menu. The shooting mode gives a brief description of mode. I feel this is a great beginner camera. The only complaint I have is the shutter is loud. It disturbs the animals when i take a picture. This may be normal but loud for me. Investing in a telephoto lens may help. Other than that this is a great camera.

I purchased the camera hoping to improve on my picture taking abilities. It is a little difficult to use for me, but that is because I am such a novice. However, as I read the manual and practice shooting it is working out very well. I am thinking of taking a photography class and really improving my skills. Great camera, it even has the ability to shoot video and comes with the needed cords to plug into TV for use.

I wanted a camera to capture the chaos that surrounds are family with two VERY active little boys. I was tired of blurry pictures. This camera is a perfect addition to our family.
