Now that everything is digital, this is a great camera to switch over to to give you the ability to use the zoom lens and other great features. We love the camera.

Impressive but bit overwhelming for a beginner

It is my first DSLR and I love it but it is a bit overwhelming as I don't have any experience with manual settings and I don't find the instructions to be enough in laymans terms for beginners. Still trying to figure out how to get pics to my computer with out having to remove the disk. It will take time but I will get it. Thought it was a bit pricey but I liked it enough. Will try to update as I get better use of it. Came highly recommended from an acquaintance that is a professional photographer. She felt it was a good beginner one that would be a tad tough in the beginning but I wouldn't quickly out grow it either.
