Lots of features for the price

I recommend this for anyone as their first DSLR. This has a ton of features, the flip-out LCD makes it easy to shoot from a lot of perspectives w/o contorting your body. Although the included 18-55mm kit lens is ok, there are many better lenses out there.

This is a serious camera!

Great deal, as it included regular lens and zoom lens, travel bag, sd card, and lens pen. Easy to use right out of the box! Great pictures. Easy to change lenses. Chose Canon, as many of the lenses are interchangeable with many camera models to expand later on.
