This is my second Cannon Rebel purchase. I previously had the 12 MP and loved it. I travel both domestically and internationally frequently for both work and pleasure and my camera comes with me. I love the rotating LCD screen, long battery life, and the crystal clear images taken. This is a great camera for any enthusiast!

I feel like this is a great camera for starters. It has a smooth feel to it, looks gray and takes really nice pictures. Although the neck strap makes you feel like you can drop it at anytime, I simply placed a small knot on the neck tie. But overall this is a great camera with super cool features on it like filters!

I purchased this camera the end of May. There are so many features I haven't even begun to use yet, which is great because I want to be able to expand my usability in the future. This camera was easy to set up and use. Like a lot of other users I took the camera out of the box and began using it immediately. When I decide to finally read the manual I'm sure I will enjoy many more features. Overall, the camera has done great for me so far. I shot a wedding with this camera the weekend I bought it and overall the pictures were beautiful. I do want to learn more about indoor photography; therefore, in the future I will be purchasing an exterior flash to help with shadowing. I am enjoying this camera and would recommend it to anyone I know whose looking more into photography or just using it for leisure purposes. Great camera, way to go Canon!

The pictures I shot with this camera turned out great. Some of the shots would rival those of a "pro". The image stabilization lenses eliminated any operator error due to camera movement. I liked everything about this camera. There is nothing negative I can think of when it comes to using this camera. A fully charged battery lasted all day long for me, with power to spare. A plus was that it works with the other EF Canon lenses I already have, so I did not necessarily have to buy new lenses. Because of the image stabilization lenses available, I chose to purchase those.

Whether you're blonde or not. This camera well definitely help you on your way to becoming a great photographer. It takes a little while to learn how to appropriately use all the features but once you do its simple. The camera feels solid, doesn't eat through the battery and looks expensive.

This is our 2nd T3i having bought one for our daughter earlier this year. This is my first DSLR and I researched them thoroughly before buying. I have had a number of pocket cameras over the years (Koday, Nikon, & Canon) and settled on Canon years ago as having the best features and taking the best photos.
This camera does not disappoint. I considered the T3 but for around $50 more you get more pixels, better HD, and the flip-out screen. This was important to me because it lets me set the camera on a tri-pod and use a wireless remote shutter release to take family photos; before I'd just have to run and get in the picture and hope I was positioned properly. Now we can SEE what the photo will look like. I also like to take low-angle shots and the screen makes this much easier. Also handy when shooting video over people's heads like ballgames and parades.
This is a solid camera. I have not seen any problems yet. As a full-featured, entry level DSLR you won't go wrong with this one.

I bought this camera on a whim; I wasn't a photo major nor do I know all the ins and outs of all of the nomenclature of the "proper way" to take a picture. Just looking for a new hobby on a trip that was planned. The T3i was self explanatory out of the box and, when in manual mode - where you have to adjust shutter speed, ISO, etc, EVERY function is explained on the screen. I'm one of those guys that doesn't know how to read a manual and I had this figured out within a day; Alaska was great and I have amazing pictures that captured every day of the trip. This camera is super easy to operate and each function is explained at the touch of a button so there is really no guesswork involved in getting that perfect shot. The only thing that was missing was a tripod...

I have always had point and shoot cameras but always wanted one to do more with and I am excited to learn everything I can about this SLR camera. So for a novice, but want to learn photographer, this Rebel T3i Canon is great. Easy to use right out of the box. Short battery charge time, easy to follow instruction book to get you started plus has two DVDs for your computer with much more info on it. Great pictures so far and amazing details. I can go completely automatic or manual, change lenses quickly (want a super zoom lens next!) and takes very clear pictures. It also takes very good pictures with minimal lighting and I like the anti-vibration feature. The only thing I would add to this would be maybe a tether for the lens cap.

This is a great camera at an exceptional price. Granted, I got lucky purchasing the floor model, but still even at a more normal price point of is still worth your money. The swivel screen while initially seeming gimmicky comes in useful for video and night shooting of the stars. The camera takes great quality pictures, especially with a bump up in the lens department.

This is my first DSLR and its amazing. I have the stock lens that comes with it and i'v learned a lot of different techniques on how to take amazing pictures watching some online tutorials. I'm learning the manual settings and it frustrates me sometimes as a beginner but its am amazing camera. Takes really sharp pictures and the features are just endless. You can take a wide variety of pictures with the different settings on the camera.
If you are trying to transition from a point and shoot to a DSLR, this T3i is definitely worth it. And if you are a novice photographer like myself, this is the perfect camera for you too. Its just amazing.
