Great camera for a beginner, but lacking in areas

I tried to do a few night pictures of the stars and found the settings to be extremely lacking, which was disappointing. The instructions in the booklet are very poorly organized, but after playing with it a lot myself I've mostly figured it out. It gives you a lot of information while you're changing settings in the camera which sped up my process of learning how to use it.
