Smooth operation, focuses quickly. This camera was a package deal, buy the camera receive a lens, looking camera with a zoom lens, good deal. The camera zooms in quickly, and the quality of the details are stunning, full of depth. The instruction manual information with very useful and easily understandable.

I researched several SLR's before deciding on the Canon T3i. I'm happy with my choice so far, having purchased the camera first of all to take high quality photos of fairly small works of sculpture art, using the Canon 60mm macro lens. For that use, the camera and lens seem to work very well. I find the ergonomic arrangement of controls on the camera to very very intuitive and pleasant to use. The camera feels solid and is easy to hold with the very adequate right hand grip that has a rubberized cover allowing the user to maintain a firm grip. The menu system for adjusting camera settings is also well designed and easy to use. The adjustment wheel just behind the shutter button makes changing settings very simple when in manual mode. I especially like the articulated LCD screen on the back of the camera that allows it to be positioned so that otherwise very awkward camera positions (ie, overhead, or low to the ground) are easily possible. The view finder is very clear and has all basic settings info on the bottom border. The camera comes with a comfortable, good quality neck strap and is quite light and small compared to other SLRs. Battery life seems to be very good - longer than I expected. The included corded battery charger will appeal to some, but not to those who prefer the travel type charger with a swing-out plug. This is not a professional level SLR, but it performs very well as a small, light APS-C camera.

Bought this camera for use for my website while attending Comic-Con this year. Took some great quality pictures and fantastic video. For the price I got this for, it works flawlessly. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to start making videos and still take some pretty photos.

Gave this camera to my daughter so she would quit trying to borrow mine! Seriously, this is a great camera from the beginner to the semi-pro/pro type photographer. Very user friendly if you have any experience w/camera's.

Can't say enough about this camera after doing a boatload of research. The swivel screen makes ALL of the difference verses the less expensive model. Can't say enough about the camera and would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I purchased this camera primarily because I have 3 children and I love taking pictures of them at every occasion.this camera is amazing,I still have to figure out all the features on it,but I'm having alot of fun with the continuous shoot feature.the 18mp,makes for such a clear picture,I am sooooooo happy with this purchase,it was completely worth every $$$spent! One thing I would recommend is buying a zoom lens with it,because the standard lens,is just for basic photography,you can't really get close up shots!

on sale this camera blew away competing cameras for value. Also got a great 30% off accessories saving us a lot of money. The camera is so good we took our own engagement photos and they were better than our friend's professional ones. This camera is amazing!

First SLR I have owned, learning how to use it, but I am impressed with the quality of picture, and like the screen. The manual is not that user friendly if you have never used an SLR before but there are some good books out there. I like Canon products.

After trying a friends Rebel XT for several months I settled on the T3i. I love this camera. The features are incredible and the quality of the photos is amazing. Outstanding camera and the bundled 2 lenses, memory card and camera bag are excellent.

I purchased this camera several months ago and am still learning more about it each and every day. There is a great deal to learn if you are upgrading from a point-and-shoot to a SLR, but a camera like this will allow you to have full control over your shots utilizing the manual mode. Highly recommended for beginners and professionals!

Love this camera so far, flawless and very, very quick to take the next picture. Without flash, it takes about 3 pictures per second, with flash it takes 1-2 per second. I received this as a package deal with a Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 image-stabilized zoom lens and Canon 55-250mm f/4-5.6 Telephoto Zoom Lens. Also great products I reviewed on.

basic enough to ease into better quality photography and with options to really get into it further too if you want

This camera has so many features and captures AMAZING photos. Bought to take quality pictures of my son when he was born and I love that I am able to take professional quality shots right at home. I recommend buying the Canon 1.8 50mm lens to use with this camera.

Even without knowing how to take advantage of all the features available, it's easy enough to still take great pictures.

I use this camera for any of my photography projects - portrait, still life, action, product, reference photos, and textures. Furthermore, the video quality is surprisingly excellent.

I love it, it's easy to use, picures quality is great.

You can set it to auto focus or you can focus it yourself. Both give you a crisp picutre. Sometimes on autofocus it can take too long to take the picture or not take the picture at all.

This is my first DSLR, and i'm very excited to have it! It is definetly a step up as far as picture quality, I, however, do not know how to use all of its features yet. I would love to take a class on how to use this camera to its ultimate potential. The pictures come out great, The lens could be better, but it is fine for a start up. It's quickly becoming my favorite camera ever! = D
