Always wanted a DSLR. This is great model to start out with. Takes really good pictures, video quality is also great. I give this one two thumbs up!!

I have this camera for a few months already and I am very satisfied with it. We had a family trip to Orlando, FL (Disney world) and i had awesome pictures to say the least. A must for a beginner.

I remember the very first picture i took, and I was amazed. The quality is amazing, and the focus is superb.

Not only are the pictures it take quite awesome and close to true color but the HD video it takes is amazing!!!

This is the recommended DSLR who wants tp upgraded from a point and shoot camera. You will find that this camera will create some of the most amazing pictures. The camera feels solid and is easy to hold with the very adequate right hand grip that has a rubberized cover allowing the user to maintain a firm grip. The menu system for adjusting camera settings is also well designed and easy to use.

I upgraded from the Digital Rebel XT, and although I haven't been able to use all of the features of the new one yet, I've loved everything I've used so far.

This camera takes awesome pictures. I'm not a photographer but with this camera anyone can take good pictures.

This is such a great camera! The quality of pictures is amazing although I do recommend getting another flash. RAW is crisp and detailed, love it!

I wanted a camera that I could use to take pics of the grand kids and my dogs. This camera does all that and more! Action shots are great! Now I have a camera that I can use and learn all the manual shooting at my own pace :)

Great camera and LOVE IT. It takes a bit of time to learn, its not just a point and shoot but once you read some directions it it fun to use. I take way more pictures than I use to and would recommed it but remember to read the directions, I'm still learning a lot about it and have had it for 2 months. I wish I would of spent the money on a GREAT camera long ago.

Bought this for a vacation. My previous camera was a point-and-shoot. It took great pictures on "auto" and is ready for you to explore the manual settings if/when you are ready to learn and explore. I also bought the 55-250mm zoom. I wish I had bought more lens for a zoom as this one, while decent, left me wanting more zoom frequently.

It really is a great camera, and you can never go wrong with Canon when it comes to cameras. It has plenty of great features for beginners like myself, and it really does you give you the feel that you're using it like a pro. The only downside is the Autofocus feature on the lense on low light, it seems to have a lot of trouble trying to focus on it self, but its an easy fix just switch it to Manual Focus and problem solved, its not a big issue. OVERALL, I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

This is a great DSLR. It has many great features and they're easy to learn and understand. The features are easy to use and understand and easily accessible. The picture quality is wonderful. Video quality is superb!

The camera is super fast, no lag, excellent photos. Love it.

Love the image stabilizer, because it reduces need for tripod, so it is easy to travel with. Manual easy to read and detailed, good size to carry in photo bag. Though it will take alot of practice and time to learn the numerous features, there are enough features to assist you with almost any type of photo. The macro on the standard lense is not the best, really need to purchase a macro lense to get a good close up. I too found it slow in low lighting, in automatic.

Very great camera! Lots of options and features! I've had this camera for few months and still learning something new everyday
