Overall, camera works as advertised and has all the features needed to capture good images and video. The manuals, however, could be a bit clearer as they get a bit entangled and could be confusing. Also, I realized after I had bought the camera that it didn't have an outlet for exterior audio, but that was my fault for not doing more research. In most cameras the built-in microphone is not very good

We bought this for my sons school project. It is very easy to use and the pictures are very clear. He is learning the different angles and ways of picture taking.

Pictures taken so far using auto modes have been reasonably good. The bundled software will take a little study to learn. As I venture into manual settings (lots of good tutorials online) I believe I can have even better results. Good DSLR for beginners.
