Great camera value

But during a trip the shutter broke and I had to get a new camera. So I went to Best Buy and saw that this was the best camera there and tried it out and loved it. Photography is my hobby so I know what I'm talking about when I say that this is a great camera! Only thing was the lenses only zoomed to half the amount as my old Nikon camera. Luckily this came with another lenses that could zoom in very far but still take's a minute to do.

Its a Canon!

It has just about every feature you can imagine and yet it is simple in operation. I like the feel of the camera in your hands if you've owned Canons in the past you know what I mean.

Easy upgrade from a point-and-shoot

The exposure control appears to be more touchy than the PowerShot, and the auto setting did not always seem to get the optimum exposure. We're learning how to use the more sophisticated features of the Rebel.
