Love it. Still works great. Amazing camera for beginners.

I chose this kit to upgrade from my Canon Rebel xsi and I have yet to be disappointed. Wish the viewfinder were a little bigger but that's my only complaint.

Bought this as a gift for my daughter, and she couldn't be happier. She can use it as she is learning in her photography classes and it is versatile enough to work in every situation she has run into thusfar.

I'm enjoying my new camera, taking my time to get to know all the bells and whistles on it. With time I know I will be able to take magnificent pictures.

My daughter is in her second year of college as a journalism student and this was the camera she was desiring for school. We checked it out and decided to get it for her Christmas as a gift. For the price, this is a great camera for a beginner with a DSLR camera. It feels like a toy, is super lightweight, but I got over that because it doesn't affect the outcome of the picture taking.

Once I assembled my cemera, I started taking pictures of many settings and scenarios. Many came out blurred or out of focus, but due to my experimenting. The pictures began taking in clear and crisp sharp pictures from daylight to evening. I highly recommend this camera and if lucky like me... receive a 32 gb card, camera case and tripod... Woohoo!! ;)

This is an excellent camera for a beginner. It is user friendly and takes beautiful pictures.

I was back and forth between this and the Nikon. The quality for a beginner like myself is the same. I even asked an expert who said its all in the lense which is interchangeable. I ended up with canon which the quality is amazing only thing I don't like is the fact it only goes up to a certain size lense then I'd have to purchase a different camera. Unlike the Nikon all lense will fit. I think this camera is good for a starter camera but if you want something to build with I don't recommend it.
