Great camera for the price and to become familiar with a DSLR. Clear sharp images. I would recommend buying filters for the lens, as sometimes the sky gets washed out in landscape pictures

Excellent starter kit with all the lenses you need for a beginner. Software interface is easy to learn but there are still plenty of features to add on. Takes great pictures in any conditions.

This was on sale and really made for a good deal. It has what most would want in a complete camera kit. Not as low an F stop as the high end Canon stuff. Also, you definitely need to use a tripod or rest when using the 300 mm lens; there is no gyro stabilization (not in this price range). For the price and what you get, it is 5 stars. Remember, post-production work is what makes the difference between a good shot and a great one that you would want to print out.
