Excellent Entry-Level Camera!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my very first DSLR camera and I am very happy with it! It has so many great features that are actually useful and takes excellent quality photos. My first few shots were amazing they look like they were taken by a professional. As suggested by the Best Buy store representative, I purchased the camera separately instead of the package so I can get a better lens with a stabilizer feature for only $100 more as opposed to the one included in the package. Great camera for the price.

Good first dslr
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before I purchased this camera, I had been playing around with my friend's camera. She uses a Nikon D3400. I decided to go with this camera since I didn't have the money for the Nikon, so after research I gave this a try. After shooting in auto for a couple of days, I was very disappointed in the camera until I decided to shoot in manual and RAW. Long story short, this camera is great if the person using it can learn how to use it, but it is a good camera to learn on. As far as lenses, I would invest in something besides the 18-55 mm lens. I do a lot of close ups, so I actually like the lens if I need to get right in front of my subject. Overall, good camera. Reasonable price, and has potential to be a good camera as long as you are controlling it

Good starter DSLR that has a vari screen
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This model of the T5 has a vari screen which could be helpful for certain shots or video. Not the best camera, but a good starter DSLR.
