I upgraded from EOS DSLR camera. I love the HD feature of the video cam. It makes clear photos, colors are alive and vivid. Just perfect timing for my kids recital and awards ceremonies.

Best value in a DSLR that you can buy right now. Picture quality is great. Controls and interface are intuitive. Really aren't any cons to this camera. Perfect for someone new to cameras or a great back up camera for someone more experienced.

Before buying this absolutely wonderful Camera I was using the Canon Rebel t3 which is a great camera in its own. I have to say that this is a camera that was worth every penny that i paid for it. I love all the features that it has to offer.

So happy I upgraded my camera to the t6i! I would recommend it to anyone!

So the Canon T6i is definitely a great choice for someone looking to get away from the point and shoot cameras, or someone looking to improve the quality of their passion for photography. Some of the more expensive DSLR's can be confusing and too much for the beginner. This camera has a high amount of megapixels so that just because you are going with a beginner camera doesn't mean you are getting a beginner image. It's all about the lenses, not necessary the body. In my opinion, the 18-55 lens is a little weak in quality. I would much rather this kit have come with an 18-140mm, but it never offered it when I bought this kit. I have since moved up from this camera, but if it weren't for the T6i, I wouldn't have learned the basics in such a short period of time. This was a great purchase, and if you have a little more money, I would go for the T6s which gives you a few more features.

So first off I had bought the canon t6 on Black Friday of 2017 and thought it was the best option for me financially. The t6 was great but not having a flip out touch screen started to bother me more than I thought. I didn’t really think I’d need it until I bought a camera that didn’t have it. So I returned the t6 and exchanged it for a t6i and I love it. I wish I would have just bought it in the first place. Trying to save myself money didn’t work out for me in the end. The flip out touch screen is really great and if you’re happy with the t6 then that’s great but the t6i for me was the better option. So if your thinking if you could live without the touch screen or not, I’d say just pay the extra amount to get it. You won’t be disappointed.

I am an amateur photographer for sure. This camera is prettt user friendly & makes amateur photos look professional. My husband thought that I was a savant & then realized the camera does all the work and effects for you haha!
