I am so glad I purchased this camera yesterday. I researched on the internet before going in. This camera got good reviews, and I was happy with the rebel xsi that I have, but I was thinking about upgrading. I was honest with the sales rep, and told him I probably waste my money buying these great cameras, then only use auto. He told me the differences with the cameras and what an improvement I would notice, even on auto :). I was really wanting to improve speed, and pixels. I already had a macro lens, so I took a picture sitting on the sofa with my cat on the coffee table. I wanted to test continuous shots. He was chewing on a figurine. When I installed the pics on my computer, I could not believe what I was seeing. I could see tiny water droplets running down the inside of his mouth. The photos were crystal clear. I can't wait to take photos of my great grand kids. Camera seems bigger and heavier than my xsi, but I like it. It feels solid in my hands when I take the photos, and not too bulky. I am so happy.

I purchased this camera as an upgrade from my T3i. It has many added features such as touch screen control and auto focusing during video mode that make it so much easier to use for both beginners and experts alike. I love this camera and I never go anywhere without it!
