The camera is built very well, with a nice grip for your hands. The 24.2 megapixel and the sensor allow for great accurate color and detail. The top lcd panel is a nice feature on the Canon rebel series. And the 19 point cross type focus is great. The best buy staff was very helpful. Especially Rachel at the Taylor MI store.

I bought the T6s as an upgrade from a T3i. I really like the top LCD screen for quick info on your settings while using the LCD panel for live view. The jump from 18MP to 24MP honestly is only a slight increase in image detail and allows for a little bit more cropping. Overall it is a great fun camera.

I bought this for my wife to replace her Rebel T1 and she can't get enough of it. The connectivity to wifi and ability to interact with her phone and tablet is amazing. Being able to use all of the previous Canon accessories made it a cheaper overall buy as well. If you are looking for a great Canon D SLR look no further.

Not good for studio work

Camera was excellent outdoors. Produced accurate colors. Responsive. Worked well with the L lens. However, the purpose of buying this cameras was to operate with a smart phone. That did not work so well. In the studio, the grids on the smart phone covered up the image to the point that I couldn't see the model or focus. But the worst point. I could not get the studio flash to activate via the camera using the smart phone. That was the primary purpose for purchasing the camera, to use in the studio, with the studio flash. Didn't work so well, ended up returning the camera. Otherwise this would be an excellent camera from any beginner or intermediate photographer. I would recommend a scammer to a friend however not if they were going to use in the studio studio flash.

I am a long time photo buff. I've owned two earlier Rebel models (T2i and T4i) and have been completely satisfied with their performance, but looking forward to the T6 improvements. The T6s is a good upgrade and worth the investment. My testing thus far is completely satisfactory.

I had researched the camera and compared to other brands. However, I felt that the Canon T6s is a great product. The speed allows for catching continuous shooting without blurred photos. The digital display on top of the camera is a nice added feature. Overall so far, I am satisfied with my purchase.

Love the wifi and cell phone options for sharing pics and operating the camera remotely. Love the diversity in user friendly settings and functions. We updated from t3 and are glad we skipped over all the models between.

The new features takes the camera straight to the top if you wish for a half frame camera. The WIFI is awesome, the DSP is amazing,
many small new features like picturing two shots at once at the CA mode, one is the original.
The HDR is also very helpful for indoor shots.
I had the Rebel T3i before and happy to have this one, feels like a major upgrade

This camera was a upgrade form my Canon T1i and I am glad that I made the purchase. The camera has been setup with a new Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary Zoom lens for pictures of my granddaughters travel softball team. The shutter release is touchy in the sports mode but I have adjusted to that. The action pictures are awesome. The higher mega pixels make the pictures really sharp.

It took me months to find an affordable camera that would suit me best. When I came across the t6s I was in love! It has features that makes it feel like a high-end DSLR. It takes beautiful pictures/videos, it makes them look effortless and ridiculously clear. I would definitely recommend this camera for enthusiast, and anyone looking to start becoming a professional without having to spend a couple thousand.

After reviewing and exploring various dsl's, I decided on the Canon t6s. My basis for such was the reviews explains both the advantages and disadvantages of the many different cameras of equal ability. I have found my decision to have been correct. Although it will take time to fully understand all the ins and out, it is fun.
