This is not my first Canon DSLR camera, so I already knew the brand and quality I was getting. This is not a "beginner's camera," although some pundits would bill it as that. It's got a lot of perks for beginners, but a lot for the knowledgeable photographer also. When all is said and done, the camera body and lenses are *NOT* what make a good photograph - it's what you *DO* with the equipment and your creativity that's important. This camera can be that "means to an end" for your creativity without breaking the bank.

Fabulous bundle!! I have been using this frequently indoors and out, day and night. Have already done family photos, wedding, flowers, flowing creek, etc. This is my third Canon camera. The long lens is great, clear and up close.

The best beginner camera for your buck. I really like how it comes in a bundle so you get a case and extra lense. The photos produced with the camera are top notch, all without buying a $2000 camera. Would recommend this camera to anyone, even professionals I have seen use them when out and about. Love mine!

The camera is wonderful but it's a lot complicated for this old lady. Need to get a less complicated camera. Otherwise, it is an amazing camera with lenses for the price.
