A very good camera for pictures and video. However the audio is not so great but adequate. The body is beautiful and rugged. Gives you the option of manually settings the parameters.

The Canon EOS Rebel T7 is a solid entry-level DSLR that offers good image quality with its 24.1 MP sensor, making it a great choice for beginners. While its autofocus and continuous shooting speed are basic, it performs well in everyday photography and has solid battery life. However, it lacks 4K video and a fully articulating screen, which limits its appeal for more advanced users or vlogging. Overall, it's a reliable and affordable option for those new to DSLR photography.

I purchased this as a gift for my teenage daughter. It is newer model than she was used to. But she likes it better now that she is getting used to it. Picture quality is better.

My son uses this camera to get action shots at football games for his school. It's also been great for portraits. He loves his camera. Especially being able to upload the photos from the camera directly online.

By far best spontaneous buy I ever made, without a doubt most relaxing peaceful hobby ive found, gives you a reason to get up and out when you need one, plus has the affect of making you open your eyes and really take it all in and in todays fast moving world is a god send. 10 outta 10/would recommend pic quality 100 ease of use 100 from never using a real camera to a manual only power user in 3 days, astrophotographers the 300mm included takes a highly detailed shot of the moon and long exposure gets about 1000 stars for every 10 your eye can see.

I purchased the T7 to get back into photography, and the more advanced digital ones were something I needed to catch up on. There are good PDF manuals and YouTube videos to guide you through the rather extensive menu options. The image quality, grip/ergonomics and mode setting versatility are excellent, and the various controls are well-placed to adjust on the move. However, the lack of items such as a Type C download cable and some more simple features is a shame, as I spent $70 on two cables that would retroactively fit the camera. Still, the overall package with both the 55mm and 300mm telephoto lens and carrying bag was worth the price. I recommend a large-capacity SD card and buy a backup battery if you can find one. take the time to learn the various manual features to take full old-school SLR advantage of the camera. I ended giving the package to my daughter and her husband for a wedding present and they both enjoy it and know there's more to learn if they want to.

Let me tell you about my wild adventure with the Canon T7 Rebel! This camera is like a mischievous little gremlin that wants to capture all the madness in the world. From the moment I picked it up, it seemed to have a personality of its own. 1. The Rebel with a Cause: Forget about following the rules of conventional photography! The T7 Rebel is all about breaking the mold and capturing life from unique angles. 2. A Pixel Picasso: This camera has an artistic soul, always striving to turn ordinary moments into extraordinary works of art. With its 24.1-megapixel sensor, the T7 Rebel paints pictures with vibrant colors and exquisite details. It's like carrying around a portable art studio, ready to create masterpieces wherever you go. 3. Autofocus Dance Moves: The autofocus on the T7 Rebel is like a hyperactive dancer, always eager to find the perfect focal point. It's like the camera has a secret talent for choreography, ensuring that your subject is always in the spotlight. Just be prepared for some spontaneous dance-offs with your camera! 4. Unleash the Creativity Beast: The T7 Rebel has many creative shooting modes that will awaken your inner Picasso. From fisheye effects to miniature worlds, this camera encourages you to explore new dimensions of creativity. Get ready to experiment, because this camera is not afraid to embrace your weirdest ideas. 5. Rebel on a Battery Binge: Okay, this little troublemaker does have one weakness—it's a bit of a battery hog. But don't let that discourage you! Just ensure you have spare batteries or a power bank on hand, and you're good to go. Besides, a camera this fun deserves a little extra energy to keep up with all the adventures. So, if you're up for an exciting and quirky photography journey, the Canon T7 Rebel is your partner in crime. Embrace the rebellious spirit, unleash your creativity, and capture the world with a twinkle in your eye. Remember, it's not just a camera—it's a companion that's ready to join you on the wildest of escapades. Happy shooting!

I Really love the R8. I just got into photography but didnt want to get a camera only to need a new one for better quality in two years. Definitely not for people who do not want to sink some money into the hobby, but once you take the dive it produces some amazing quality stuff. When taking photos of stuff, nothing in particular the auto focus tends to find the closest thing in frame to focus to, but a quick swap to manual fixes that right up.
