    Got this camera for my wife and she loves it. She is still learning everything it can do and keeps getting better pictures the more she learns all the features. She used to use the basic cameras and always had problems with a bunch of pictures not turning out but with this one it has been minimal.

    I have both brands and for beginners I feel like canon would be more user friendly. It has descriptions as soon as you switch setting. Unlike Nikon, you have to kind of know what you’re doing. Both are good quality, however I did have to return this canon about two weeks of having it. The display simply wouldn’t light up, and I hadn’t used it in the time. I was on a trip and was looking forward to it when I got back! But overall I still recommend! Just don’t forget to purchase a warranty!! At least 1 year you never know.
