T-7!

The first was a T-5, and it got to the point where the larger lens wasn't talking to the camera. This is my replacement and I love it. I just wish I could find a BIGGER lens at a decent price.

Upgrade

Very similar. I do love how the focus selection is much brighter so you are able to see it while taking photosnist the little things that save some time so you don't miss the shot you are trying to get. So far so good.

Bad glaring effect in photos

I have mixed feelings about this camera. It is easy to use, but I don’t understand what the glaring affect is. Probably good for basic photography but more advanced photography will need a better camera than this one.

Excellent beginner camera

My kids now own the T3 and it was time to get a new camera. The T7 was in my price range and had a ton of updates since the T3 model so I snatched it up on a Black Friday sale. I was not disappointed, the update to 24MP and the addition of WiFi and Bluetooth were a big plus. It is a great beginner camera and if it were not such a big jump from a beginner to intermediate camera (between $400 and $600) I might have gone mirror less. But for the occasional wildlife shots this is all I really need.

Canon EOS review

Perfect for taking photos of the landscape and wildlife. Wasn't too heavy to carry while hiking and the larger zoom was perfect for safely taking photos of wildlife.
