Great beginner camera for the price!

I previously had a Rebel about 5 years ago so I decided to get the newer one. It's a good camera to get your bearings and learn manual - since I personally already had experience with that years ago I ended up upgrading about a month after use and giving this to a family member who wanted to learn. Definitely a great starter camera. Lenses that come with it have their limits but if you are just starting out you probably won't notice it until you progress. Great little package for the price and highly recommend these cameras to all beginners!

Lens lamp went out after 25 pictures

Quality product for an affordable price & excellent customer service; I researched lots of cameras at various retailers before this purchase, lots of options but the Best Buy website was invaluable for comparisons & customer reviews. Helpful accessory suggestions let me bundle a package so I got everything I needed to start snapping right away! Love the camera, handles like my old film SLR, good heft but not awkward, & lense changes are smooth. Switching from auto to manual exposure took a small learning curve, but likely due to me not the camera :) All in all, great purchase experience. Going to get one for my daughter now!
