    For the first time I am buying a DSLR and worried about spending 500 bucks. After a long research of 3 months, between Canon and Nikon I chose Canon. 2 kit lens for this price is a to go option in my case and being a beginner I didn't want to invest a lot in a hobby but I still wanted to capture photographs which I would like to frame. So I chose this one.

    I started out with the T5 three years ago. It was a great camera. Lasted a year before it quit. They gave me a T6 to replace it. Again, great camera. Lasted a year before it quit. They gave me a T7 to replace it. Lasted one day. I really, really liked the camera; but its lack of longevity leaves something to be desired. I would not recommend this to a friend.

    Great product, but speaking of a "Black Friday deal", this was $699.00 at Black Friday 2019.... $449.00 on June 19, 2020 and $499.00 on Black Friday 2020. My advice: Wait January for this to go down
