    I like the camera. When I went to the store to pick it up I wanted filters. The clerk said it was 55MM. I asked if we could check against the camera lens and both the clerk and the register operator said no. When I got the items home I find that the the lens required 58MM filters. Now I am stuck with a long drive back to the store just to exchange filters. :-(

    Good beginner and entry level camera for PHOTOGRAPHY. I wouldn't even bother with the video recording mode, it's pretty garbage, especially the internal mic. It is nice to have two interchangeable lenses and a case. With that being said, if you are looking for a camera for youtube recording purposes, or vlogging, pass on this camera. I will be returning mine because 1. It doesn't have a flip out screen (which was ok when I first bought it) 2. The camera does not support TRS microphones, so it is impossible to connect an external mic. 3. Quality for cost seems unbalanced.

    For the first time I am buying a DSLR and worried about spending 500 bucks. After a long research of 3 months, between Canon and Nikon I chose Canon. 2 kit lens for this price is a to go option in my case and being a beginner I didn't want to invest a lot in a hobby but I still wanted to capture photographs which I would like to frame. So I chose this one.
