She loves it and has had no issues. It comes with a neck strap so you don't have to hold it all the time. Battery last a little short.

There is definitely a learning curve with this camera. Happy with what pictures I am getting with it, but for every good one, I am having to take 20-30. Make sure to get a big SD card and a extra battery or two wouldn’t hurt either. Be prepared to spend time going through/delete photos but the App makes it easy to transfer photos from the camera to other devices.
