Perfect camera for my wife, who wanted a camera to take some nicer photos than our phones can provide. If you're looking for a DSLR that will be a great camera for a hobby, this is a great piece of hardware. I do not think you'll take this into starting a photography business but it is perfect for getting into photography overall. The added long distance lens and the carrying case are a nice bonus in this kit as well. Just needed to add a memory card and more batteries to get everything we needed.

I LOVE this camera! It is great for just starting out and I love that it came with two lenses! It works perfect for taking sports pictures of my kids and the teams and pictures for dances/special occasions!

I have only got to experiment with the camera a little bit, but I am excited to go out into the world and really play with it! What little I have used of it so far as been great!

Simply amazing, i started out as a photographer with this camera and i am just now seeing a need to change it out due to the low fps. It may not be a problem to other but i shoot cars racing so i need a higher fps. The only other issue i had with this was the auto focus, it works perfectly some times.

Easy to use and takes great quality pictures! I like having different lenses to use for different photo shoots.

This is not my first Canon DSLR camera, so I already knew the brand and quality I was getting. This is not a "beginner's camera," although some pundits would bill it as that. It's got a lot of perks for beginners, but a lot for the knowledgeable photographer also. When all is said and done, the camera body and lenses are *NOT* what make a good photograph - it's what you *DO* with the equipment and your creativity that's important. This camera can be that "means to an end" for your creativity without breaking the bank.

Cannon Cameras are my Favorite. Takes Great Pictures, Easy to use and allows full automatic Operation or several different manual modes.
