Great for product photos

I had a bit of a learning curve with the manual settings but once I got used to it - it made my products look so much better for my website.

Good camera for beginners to intermediate users.

I'm not an advanced photographer so my review is one for the layman not the expert. The camera feels like high quality, heavy but still manageable. The shutter is fast, the lenses adjust well. The only part that I've found to be a bit of a pain is taking pictures with the digital display screen. It takes the camera quite a bit longer to focus and take the picture when using the LCD display as opposed to using the viewfinder. When using the viewfinder, it is close to instant, when using the LCD screen, it seams to bog down and take longer. That is enough to drop this camera down a star alone.

Nice kit for the aspiring photo bug

I purchased this kit for my daughter once she started showing an interest in photography. It is very easy to use with the pre-programmed mode setting. The lenses swap out without any issues so you can change them on the fly if needed. I definitely appreciated that fact when I had to quickly change lenses during a horse show.
