This camera is definitely a step up from my previous Canon T3i. It has a lighter body, greater megapixels, and autofocus for video. However, the slight downside is it has a softer focus that can only be seen when previewed on computer or laptop. If you're looking through the camera's monitor, it'll look great but when doing a manual focusing, it'll have a softer focus than my previous T3i. I don't really know what's wrong with it. Everything else works great but the softer focus does set me off sometimes especially doing portraits. Otherwise, it's a great camera for a beginner and definitely a step up from the older Canon T models.

After doing comparative research, I found this Canon was the best one in my price range to match with my new Tamron 18-400mm lens. It is comparatively light to carry and comfortable to use.

This is my second DSLR. I upgraded from a Canon T2i which was another great camera but I really wanted something with a screen that flips out for recording. I wanted countless videos and compared this to the Canon 80D but the price difference made this purchase a no brainers as the spec difference for the 2 cameras is very minimal. I'm more than happy with my purchase.

This is my second canon rebel, my first was an eos rebel xsi. The video, is actually really good, the pictures are beautiful. I bought the camera, to replace my older model, plus I wanted video. The camera is easy to use, the flip screen is also a plus. I would defiantly recommend this camera for beginner and intermediate.

Just bought the Canon Rebel T7i and can't say enough great things about it. I got familiar with the controls really quick. It's light and feels great in your hands and. Love snapping pictures every chance I get.

Upgraded from a Canon EOS Rebel T3i and could not be more pleased. The 45 focus points help create wonderful images. Easy to use to the point that I use the T7i more in manual mode than auto. More shoots to come.

I've always had a list of stuff I've always wanted and on that list I've always had a canon rebel dslr camera. Well I can finally cross it off my list! This camera is a beast for it being on the lower end of the spectrum of canons dslr cameras. It keeps up with my 2 year old and catches some amazing pictures without having to edit them. It has more features than I know what to do with and they are all great!

Have had this camera for a few months now and learned most of the settings and how to use them. Got some great pics even when not able to travel much right now. Most around the house. Everything is easy to understand with plenty of help for Canon if needed with a great support system.

Great camera for beginner/intermediate photographer. Love having 3 different lenses now to go with it. Been using this camera 3 years now & still loving the features & quality of photos.

I’ve been into photography for years but just now recently started getting serious about it. This camera is awesome. Compatible with all canon lenses so it’s adaptable for whatever shooting you want to do. I’ve been doing portraits and family photography, and then some landscapes with a wide angle lens. So far, I’m really happy about my purchase.

Ihave 3 cameras all canon i absolutely love these cameras in 6 year had only one problem and that was the shutter breaking inside but had a warrantee so was fixed right away Back to doing what i love taking action shots of foot basketball n track n field

I upgraded to this camera from my Canon T5. Let me tell you. This camera is SO much better. Honestly, you wouldn't think there would be such a huge jump in its main functions and capabilities, but there really is. I think what I like most about this camera is it's ability to auto focus while it's recording video. No other canon camera model does this. It's the first of its kind. I'm also really enjoying the moveable LCD screen. I can adjust it to any position I need it, and I can flip it 180 degrees to show others the photos I had taken. Naturally, when you flip the screen, the photo will flip too. The screen is also a touch screen which is pretty cool. Another nice feature is that they made it more friendly for beginners. It has a guide that will tell you what each setting is for, and walk you through it just to make sure you have things set right. Naturally, this setting can be turned off for the more advanced users. They also have a few new filters and pucture options built in such as HDR art, candlelight dinner, fisheye lens effect, etc. the fisheye lens effect is especially nice. It does a really good job of mimicking an actual fish lens. If you like the look, you won't have to go out and buy the lens now. This camera also has an inhouse stabilizer option for filming, which is definitely a plus. They improved the inhouse microphone since the t5, but not by much. Overall, would highly recommend this product.

I upgraded to the canon t7i from a sony a3000 and I love It! It takes very crisp photographs, it has easy to use controls and convenient built in wifi/Bluetooth to transfer photos to your smartphone. Perfect for photographing wildlife, even fast moving animals (hummingbirds, hawks ect) Landscapes and night shots. I'm very happy with my purchase!!
