Had it for a few days pictures were sharp but I don’t like that it does not have in body stabilization

This camera works great with RF lenses. I had issues using my Tamron lens with it using an adapter.

It’s not good that much because the battery is too low maybe it’s better canon sl3

unfortunate I was not told when I bought the camera that I also needed an adapter to go with the camera lenses...to make things worse, Best Buy does not have the adapter in stock nor do they know if they will carry the adapter in the future. Without this adapter I can't use the camera, been having a hard time finding it in other stores/online, so for the time being camera is in the BOX. Would I have known about this I would had chosen a different camera... P.S. not worth the price...

Just okay , not really what I expected though from canon.

Studio image quality in a FF camera for 1300... Currently blown by image produce by the 50mm EF prime that cost $125 (simply wow).. Comes with a free adapter and grip, flip screen, excellent ergonomics (nice quality feel and grip), excellent touch screen interface, excellent software integration (allows you to quickly share photos or remote control camera from your cell to take pictures), class leading Canon photo science, access to largest lens selection on market (as a beginner or pro I have ability to use more affordable lenses or move up to more professional lenses if needed). In all blown away by this camera... Also all negatives reviews you see are coming from youtubers in regards to 4k which I hardly ever use because I am looking for a stills FF camera that can take awesome pictures, portraits, family events and outings and could also be used in professional manner which this camera nails!!!

If you have Canon EF or EFS lenses or just want a small light and very capable mirrorless body this EOS RP is a good choice. This 26 MP sensor (much like the one found in the Canon 6D Mll) is very capable of producing outstanding still images. RAW converters are not yet out so I imagine those files would be even better. I haven't used it with all my lenses but using the Canon adapter my EF 35mm f2 focused fast and accurate. If you starting out the new 35mm f1.8 RF lens would be a better choice. Not the best body for video, Canon uses a crop of the FF sensor. The flip rear screen is a plus. I only use my cameras for still images so I can't comment on actual results. All and all this is a well built body at a great entry price.

Preordered this camera from Canon online store. The AF is excellent. My Canon 85mm F/1.2 was a hit-or-miss on my Canon 5D Mark 3 body. Probably 1 out of 9 shots were tac sharp. But the AF on this camera is pretty accurate, with eye-AF, I get all my shots perfect. Canon user interface is very easy to use. If you shoot in Manual mode, you need 3 control dials at your finger tip - A, T and ISO. This one, you have two dials on the camera body for A and T, you can configure the ring on the RF lens for ISO. What other camera gives you this level of easy controls!!!

This has been a great camera. I tended to hop from one camera to the other, looking for perfection and only seeing flaws. Until this body. I am about to sell the RP after four great years and I don’t regret it at all.
