You get what you pay for. The image quality with this camera and the RF lenses is superior. I switched from a rebel seven and control wise, it’s really not much different. But the image quality the crispness of the photos is excellent.

I'm delighted with this camera. Way back in the days of film I used to do a lot of manual photography (most of it underwater). I decided I wanted to get back in and started with an entry-level full-frame mirrorless camera and the RP fit my needs and my budget perfectly. Despite the fact that the RP was released in 2019, I think it still represents terrific value. I've used it in low-light settings taking pictures of our Christmas lights outside at night. I've used Aperture-Priority and Shutter-Priority mode and it produces far better images than I could obtain with my smart phone. I'm now experimenting with full manual mode and also with the "nifty fifty" STM prime lens. I surely do not have the budget for L-series lenses (and above) but so far I'm very happy with what I have taken using the kit 24-105 zoom lens and the 50mm f1.8 prime. It's great to get back into this again!

I'm learning photography, and the Canon EOS RP Mirrorless Camera with RF24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM Lens is very easy to use. It also comes with a built-in lens, which makes it very versatile.

Bought it to quickly replace my Nikon that decided to poop out on vacation. So far the adjustment from Nikon to this has been smooth. I fought a bit with the transfer photos to phone but I’m enjoying it. Still getting to know the camera but it is working great. It was easy to get going on vacation right out of the box.

I did a lot research before commiting to purchasing the Canon RP for myself. I am glad I did too. The RP does everything I need it to do. The camera is well built, user friendly and feels great in the hand. The content I create with video and photography have been awesome! There are better cameras on the market, however for the price point that I bought this at.... Can't beat it!

Great for everything that doesn't require a lot of dynamic range. Can easily photograph anything from weddings to street. Small amd lightweight while still feeling well built. Battery is the only negative but it certainly isnt a deal breaker.

In my opinion, Canon really knocked it out of the park with this little camera. Not only does it function as well as its bigger brother the Canon R, but it's also half the price. With this pandemic, I knew I wanted a reliable camera to capture the more time we spent as a family due to the lockdowns and this camera has delivered. Excellent quality and full frame. Fantastic.

Despite all the reviews talking bad about this camera keep it mind this is a camera meant for still photos not for vlogging although it could be use for vlogging. Is it a great camera for photography which is what I use it for and for timelapse. If you are looking for your first full frame camera for still photography this is the right one to pick. I could go on about what people say that is wrong about this camera but I won’t try to clarify on what people say, just look at the price, at the quality and what you are going to mainly use it for. The photos are great specially if you are upgrading from a crop sensor, if you shoot portrait this is perfect. I which I could explain more but just go and try this camera and see it for yourself, promise you won’t be disappointed unless you are a professional photographer that needs fast fps for sports or something.

This is a highly capable full frame sensor camera with features that allow easy control of the shooting parameters. There is a trade-off between size and weight in going from APS-C sensor to full frame and I decided to accept the bigger camera in exchange for the better photo quality and convenient controls. Note that most of the added weight and size is in the lenses, not so much the camera body. The camera also fit in my hand better than the Canon M50. I already have an S110 pocket camera and my daughter has an APS-C type so the RP adds some professional level quality that I am enjoying. There is a lot to learn in order to make full use of all of the camera's features, which you can learn from online tutorials and the full manual available online. I also want to point out that if you are buying a camera at this price point and capability level you should be reading professional reviews with sample photos, such as Imaging Resource. YouTube reviews can be useful too, but may be biased and in some details I have found just wrong.

It takes amazing photos, and for the features at this price it’s a no-brainer. The only reason for the 4* is because it had some issues with shutting off and not coming back on for a couple hours despite a full battery and then all pics had the “blinkies”. Thankfully I have total tech and it was replaced in just a couple days. I’d still recommend this amazing camera, I’m guessing I just got a bad one. I haven’t heard of anyone else with these issues.

What a purchase. The body on this sweet camera is so nice and light. Easy to use, and this is my first Full Frame Camera. I took some portrait shots a few days ago and it did wonders. My shots came out super clear and better than my older cameras, with the same settings. I recommend this camera to any new users.
