So, we went from a T7 to this RP. Changed our photography game immensely. Now, I know we're comparing entry level, CMOS sensor, mirrored DSLR to entry level, full frame, mirrored... there should be a significant jump. And there was. Everything about this is better and worth the price. Low light performance, shutter rate, the newer line of lenses... we couldn't be more pleased. One drawback... if you have large hands, get Canon's grip extender. Very small body for a full frame camera. Most of what I do is free handing, so it helped a ton. Also, the Canon EF lens adapter is great for using older lenses. Not a single issue with that.

Have been very happy with this camera. Great quality for the price. Definitely a good starter camera for photography. Battery life is a little low. A good idea to buy extra batteries.

A GREAT price for a full frame sensor! I am very happy with this camera, although it doesn’t have some features that more expensive cameras have, this camera delivers amazing quality photos. There is nothing else that can beat this camera at this price point. You won’t be buying this for the video features, but if it’s great photos that you want, you are buying this camera.

Camera basically teaches you how to use it. Apps are more updated to use professionally, solid camera all the way around

Love the separate dials for shutter, aperitifs, iso. Very user friendly and takes awesome photos. The kit lens is great, and you can also use an adapter and put your ef lens on. Love the touch screen, and zoom like your phone. When looking through the viewfinder you can scroll the screen and change your focus point! Definitely a step up from my canon t7i. Both have their purpose, I’ve found I use this more and more for portraits and my t7i for landscape.

To me this is an awesome camera, well worth the price and I don’t regret one bit getting it and the memories I will take will be great! Only thing that I don’t like and you have to get it on the side is a flash.

This is a good camera for starters. Got this camera for casual content creation (TikTok and Instagram). At this price point, it really hits all the bases. The only minor flaw I experienced was auto focus, other than that, I would recommend this for starters!

This camera has been my main camera for about 5-6 months now. I'm in no way a professional photographer but I love the images that this camera can produce. It won't recover shadows and highlights like a $3500 R5 but if you compose your photos properly beforehand you can end up with some stunning images.
